So what does joining the MRA do for you?
Mainly and most importantly it gives you a voice. MRA representatives are all the time talking to government officials, committees and various road groups. They also talk to the media, and help with safety and motorcycling forums. By taking up membership you are supporting these activities.
Membership also gives you the right to vote at MRA AGMs and QGMs. Want an issue discussed? Want some action? Got ideas? The Quarterly xGMs are not only the chance to put your ideas forward and get them discussed by other members, they are a chance effect change by casting your vote for the things that interest you.
And in addition to the xGMs, there are monthly board meetings where any member can come in and ask to present ideas, comments, of requests.
So even if you would like to see something happen, but don't know how to progress it yourself, the xGMs and monthly board meetings are the opportunities that members have to come in and get involved.
